Description
Valve cores are the cheapest part of a tire assembly and the one most likely to cost you a comeback. The Schrader 5405V-100PK is built for the pressure and heat that commercial service generates, where a standard core takes a set and starts weeping. Supplied 100 to the pack, because a shop replacing cores one at a time is not replacing them often enough. Schrader specifies new grommets, nuts, caps and valve cores every time a tire comes off the wheel. A compressed grommet will not seal a second time, and a reused core is the most common cause of a slow leak that gets blamed on the sensor.
