Description
The Prema PCS-2 is a rubber repair stem with a built-in guide wire for 1/4" crown injuries in tubeless tires. It is the stem half of a two-piece repair: it fills the injury channel, while a separate repair unit seals the inner liner.
Clean the injury with a Prema CC-6 carbide cutter, then pull the stem through from the inside with its guide wire. Prema calls for stems when the injury runs at an angle greater than 25 degrees; straighter injuries can take a one-piece Combi unit instead. Finish the job with a Prema repair unit charted for the size, such as the PUR-2 or PUS-2 universal, PR-109 or PR-110 radial, or PB-1 or PB-2 bias unit.
This is the PCS-2: sized for 1/4" (6 mm) injuries, with a 2 year shelf life.
