Description
Quik Grip Wide Base chains are built for 4x4 pickups and SUVs running wide tires, with heavier cross chains, a stronger side chain and stronger connectors than a standard light truck chain. They are meant for moderate off road use in snow and mud as well as plowed roads, and they are not a Class S low clearance chain, so check your wheel well room first. Fits tire sizes 36x15.50-15LT, 37x12.50-16.5LT, 38x14.50-17, 38x15.50-20LT, 325/65-18, 345/70-18, 35x12.50-17, 35x12.50-18 and 35x12.50-20.
Features
- Puts serious bite under a wide tire 4x4 in snow and mud, where a standard chain runs out of cross chain.
- Heavy 0.281 inch cross chains on a 0.281 inch side chain, sized for wide base 4x4 tires. Does not meet SAE Class S clearance.
- Fits tire sizes 36x15.50-15LT, 37x12.50-16.5LT, 38x14.50-17, 38x15.50-20LT, 325/65-18, 345/70-18, 35x12.50-17, 35x12.50-18 and 35x12.50-20.
- Case hardened steel links with oversized connectors built for the loads a wide tire puts on a chain.
- Sold in pairs, so ordering one covers two tires. Chain tensioners QG20007, QG20071 or QG20074 are required and sold separately.
