Square rod Quik Grip Alloy chains are for trucks that run chains often or for long stretches. The cross chains are manganese alloy steel with a square rod profile, so they grip harder than round links and wear considerably longer than carbon steel, and the yellow chromate finish and deep case hardening resist wear and breakage over the life of the chain.
