Description
Stud winter tires faster with the 10G automatic tire stud gun, the standard of the industry for passenger and light truck studding. It is air-powered and light in the hand, so your techs can set stud after stud with less fatigue.
The 10G is an AS-9 style #10 gun for 9mm base flange studs in TSMI #11, #12, #13, #15, #16 and #17 sizes. Set the three external fingers on the stud hole, press down, then pull the trigger while holding pressure. Release it and the gun returns to its start position, leaving the stud in the tire.
Run the gun at 95 to 110 PSI and add a couple drops of air tool oil to the air inlet daily for the longest life from the gun and its internal parts. Wet each stud hole with a little water to ease insertion.
Wear parts are easy to find, with the 0381 and 0382 repair kits plus individual fingers, springs, triggers and pistons. Add the 4048 Feeder Boy for faster loading.
