Description
The argument for EZ-sensor is inventory. One programmable Schrader 25082-4 covers a large share of the TPMS-equipped vehicles on North American roads, which means one line item on your shelf instead of a wall of vehicle-specific part numbers. Schrader launched EZ-sensor in 2010 as the industry's first patented programmable OEM-replacement sensor, and the family now covers over 100 million vehicles. It programs, relearns and verifies with common TPMS tools including the TECH200, TECH300SD, the TECH400 series, TECH500 and TECH1000. Programming is required before the sensor goes into the wheel. Schrader has been developing on-board pressure monitoring since 1991 and is now a Sensata Technologies brand, with more than 190 million sensors in service and coverage across over half of global OEM vehicle platforms.
Features
- Replaces the valve assembly on a Schrader 33900 EZ-sensor, with an angled stem for wheels where a straight valve is hard to reach.
- Four black angled aluminum stem assemblies per pack, each with the plastic sealing cap, nickel-plated valve core, nut and rubber grommet included.
- Fits the 33900 90 degree Clamp-In EZ-sensor only. The black straight equivalent is 25083 and the silver angled is 25078.
- Nickel-plated electroless valve core is the correct pairing for an aluminum stem, preventing the galvanic corrosion that seizes mismatched hardware.
- Torque the nut to 71 in-lbs and the valve core to 3.5 in-lbs. Schrader specifies new service parts every time the tire comes off.
