Description
When a TPMS-equipped tire comes off the wheel, the sensor usually goes back on with hardware that is already used up. This Schrader 20015 service kit supplies the GM sensor-specific valve components needed to remount it properly: the parts that seal the rim hole and hold the sensor square. Schrader builds these packs to the specific make, model and year rather than as a generic assortment, which is why the components in one pack will not necessarily fit the sensor in the next bay over. Schrader specifies new grommets, nuts, caps and valve cores every time a tire comes off the wheel. A compressed grommet will not seal a second time, and a reused core is the most common cause of a slow leak that gets blamed on the sensor.
