Description

The RPG A778-6 is a super duty 1" drive air impact wrench with a 6" extended anvil, built for truck and heavy equipment wheels. It puts out up to 1,800 ft-lb of torque to break big lug nuts loose and run them back down.

This is the 6 inch extended anvil model, Ascot No. 155-17786. The long anvil gets your socket down to recessed lug nuts without a separate extension, and it works in a 1,600 to 1,800 ft-lb range at a free speed of 4,500 RPM.

It runs on 90 psi shop air through a 1/2" NPT inlet and averages 8.4 CFM, so give it a compressor and air line sized for a 1" tool. Steel end plates add durability, and replacement parts are available when it needs a rebuild.

The tool is 20.3 inches long and weighs 26.59 lb. Keep the air clean and dry and oil it regularly through the inlet if your line has no lubricator.
