This kit pairs the Ingersoll Rand 231HA-2 1/2 inch drive air impact wrench with an Ascot 167-12051 flip socket set and a 4 oz bottle of Marvel air tool oil. The wrench, the sockets and the oil arrive together, so you can get straight to wheel and repair work.
This is the 2 inch extended anvil model of the 231HA, rated at 600 ft-lb of max reverse torque and 550 ft-lb forward. It runs 8,000 RPM free speed and 1,150 blows per minute from a twin hammer mechanism in a steel hammer case and aluminum housing, at 6.1 lb and 9.1 inches long.
The Ascot 167-12051 is a 1/2 inch drive chromoly steel flip socket set with a black oxide finish, holding four double-ended sockets in 18.5 x 19.5 mm, 21 x 21.5 mm, 21.5 x 22.5 mm and 22 x 22.5 mm, plus an extractor punch in a blow-molded case. Marvel MM080R air tool oil lubricates piston and rotary air tools and in-line lubricators, helps prevent rust and dissolves the gum and sludge that sap tool speed and power.
Run the wrench at 90 psi through a 3/8 inch hose to the 1/4 inch NPT inlet, where it averages 4.2 CFM and draws 22 CFM under load. The wrench is covered by a one-year Ingersoll Rand warranty.
