Description

The Ingersoll Rand 231HA-2 is a 1/2 inch drive air impact wrench for tire work, vehicle repair and facility maintenance. It delivers 600 ft-lb of max reverse torque and 550 ft-lb forward, with an aluminum housing and steel hammer case built to take a beating.

This is the 2 inch extended anvil model, which gives you extra reach into deep wheels and recessed fasteners without adding an extension. The anvil uses a friction ring socket retainer, and the tool is 9.1 inches long and weighs 6.1 lb.

The twin hammer mechanism runs 8,000 RPM free speed and 1,150 blows per minute, and the adjustable power regulator works in both forward and reverse. A pressure-fed lubrication system, contoured handle and easy-to-service two-piece construction keep it working shift after shift.

Plan on 4.2 CFM average and 22 CFM under load at 90 psi, through a 3/8 inch hose to the 1/4 inch NPT inlet. It is covered by a one-year Ingersoll Rand warranty.
