Description
The Ingersoll Rand 2236QTiMAX is a quiet 1/2 inch drive air impact wrench with the Drive Xchange System, so one tool covers more jobs. It delivers 1,500 ft-lb of breakaway torque and 1,000 ft-lb of max reverse torque for lug nuts, suspension work and seized hardware.
This is the standard anvil model, with a 1/2 inch square drive and friction ring socket retainer in a compact 7.36 inch length. The Drive Xchange System lets you swap anvils without torque-draining adapters, with 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4 inch standard length drives and extended anvils from 2 to 10 inches sold separately.
The increased dwell motor and twin hammer mechanism land 1,350 blows per minute, and a new airflow path makes it 4 dB quieter than the design before it, at 94.2 dB(A). The two-piece anvil lets you grease the hammers directly, and the titanium hammer case and composite housing keep it at just 4.4 lb.
Feed it 90 psi through a 3/8 inch hose to the 1/4 inch NPT inlet, where it averages 9 CFM and draws 36 CFM under load. It comes with a two-year warranty.
