Description

The Ingersoll Rand 2235TiMAX is a 1/2 inch drive air impact wrench built for lug nuts, suspension bolts and the rusted hardware that fights back. It puts out 1,350 ft-lb of nut-busting torque and 930 ft-lb of max reverse torque from a twin hammer mechanism, in a tool that weighs just 4.6 lb.

This is the standard anvil model, with a 1/2 inch square drive and hog ring socket retainer, so it stays compact at 7.6 inches long for tight wheel wells and engine bays. It runs 8,500 RPM free speed and 1,220 blows per minute, and the 4-position power regulator and one-handed forward and reverse button let you dial in just the right amount of power.

The titanium hammer case, steel wear plate and impact- and chemical-resistant composite housing hold up to drops and shop fluids. Feed it 90 psi through a 3/8 inch hose to the 1/4 inch inlet, where it averages 6 CFM and draws 24 CFM under load. Ingersoll Rand backs it with a two-year warranty.
