This 3 inch impact extension gives your 1/2" drive impact wrench a little extra reach for fasteners just past a lip or a bracket, while keeping the tool compact. A friction ball on the male end keeps the socket on while you work. The 2243E is a 1/2" female to 1/2" male impact extension made of heat-treated chrome-molybdenum steel with a black oxide finish, built to take the hammering of an impact wrench.
