Built for impact wrench work, this 1/2" drive 24mm deep socket clears long bolt threads and reaches recessed fasteners that a shallow socket can't. A 6 point opening grabs the flats, not the corners, for a solid bite on tight or weathered fasteners.
The 2024MD measures 3.54 in (90 mm) overall with a 1.34 in (34 mm) outside diameter and 2.91 in (74 mm) of bolt clearance. Chrome-molybdenum alloy steel and a High Torque drive design work together here: pressure moves to the thicker part of the wall, so the socket takes up to 20% more torque than a standard hex impact socket.
