The 2022M measures 1.50 in (38 mm) overall with a 1.26 in (32 mm) outside diameter and 0.83 in (21 mm) of bolt clearance. Chrome-molybdenum alloy steel and a High Torque drive design work together here: pressure moves to the thicker part of the wall, so the socket takes up to 20% more torque than a standard hex impact socket.
