Built for impact wrench work, this 1/2" drive 9/16" deep socket clears long bolt threads and reaches recessed fasteners that a shallow socket can't. A 6 point opening grabs the flats, not the corners, for a solid bite on tight or weathered fasteners.
The 2018D measures 3.27 in overall with a 0.87 in outside diameter. It is chrome-molybdenum alloy steel with a High Torque drive design that shifts pressure to the thicker part of the wall, letting it handle up to 20% more torque than a standard hex impact socket.
