Description

Recessed lug nuts are no problem for this 1/2" drive 17mm extra thin wall deep socket, which slides into tight wheel pockets that a standard impact socket can't reach. Its 6 point hex grips the nut across a broad contact area, which cuts down on rounded corners and slipping.

The 2017MDT measures 3.07 in overall with a 0.95 in outside diameter and 1.58 in of bolt clearance. Chrome-molybdenum alloy steel and a High Torque drive design work together here: pressure moves to the thicker part of the wall, so the socket takes up to 20% more torque than a standard hex impact socket.
