Every pressure check in the wheel's life runs through this part. The Schrader 28214 restores a reliable, air tight inflation point, built to the OE standard rather than to a generic aftermarket spec. Schrader specifies new grommets, nuts, caps and valve cores every time a tire comes off the wheel. A compressed grommet will not seal a second time, and a reused core is the most common cause of a slow leak that gets blamed on the sensor.
