When a part comes in buried under rust, scale or a baked on gasket, this is the disc that gets you back to clean metal without carving up the surface underneath. The 3M Scotch-Brite Roloc Surface Conditioning Disc 07485 uses a coarse aluminum oxide nonwoven web that cuts hard on contamination and stays gentle on the geometry of the part.
The open web runs cool and sheds swarf instead of loading, so one disc keeps cutting through a long job. Roloc TR attachment means a half turn puts it on the pad and a half turn takes it off, which keeps a multi step job moving.
